Today I would like to talk about something internal in the soul for I believe the reason for those negative divisions and mindsets we have in this world are internal wounds that need to be healed.

I myself would admit that sometimes it’s hard to be positive about people. I can be the type that cannot hold back anger and fall into negative thoughts immediately. I mean it would be beautiful to be wise in these situations and watch the phases of the problem carefully without raging. I wouldn’t lie if I said that our problem today is corrupted hearts and minds, and not only that but ‘anger’, which is one of the main problems that we all face. I myself would say that ANGER is an obstacle for me. I try my best to calm down but out of the blue the words that hurt those in front of me run out of my mouth and this can be frustrating because right after I take out what’s been boiling in my blood, I immediately fall guilty and all of the anger I released doubles and turns inward. I keep on reflecting on myself and decide to take a step back and apologize even if I was right because anger is one of the main factors that fuel division in our society and ruins people’s mental healths whether it’s the person getting angered upon or the one getting angry. Let us try to change our ways by first seeking help from ALLAH and asking him to assist us in these hard situations and we need to reflect on how we perceive the world and the people around us because, if we are always negative then all we are doing is training our souls to get used to hatred whether hatred towards us or against people. Understanding that people and things aren’t always perfect is key, As we always want things to go our way and they fall out or we trust and depend a little way too much on people that if they disappoint us we break down. And having tawaqul (full trust) on ALLAH would help you so much as well. Believe me, if you were able to fix your anger issue if you have one or your negative thoughts about those around, Your life will drastically change INSHA ALLAH (god-willing) for the better.

Now, you just started with yourself, and starting with YOURSELF as an individual is the first door unlocked into changing society for the better and the positive change you try to make in yourself INSHA ALLAH will positively leave a good legacy in this world and that would INSHA ALLAH higher your rank for ALLAH in the day of judgment.

May ALLAH make us of those who control their anger and those who solve problems wisely and those who strive for positive change for the sake of ALLAH. Ameen!!!
